Last February 19, we held our first Couples Fighting Against Lupus - Puso para sa Lupus.
The event is hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Mark & Jells Tamisin, our volunteers and leaders leading the couples of Lupus patients. This program aims to help a husband with a lupus wife, a wife with a lupus husband, or someone with a partner battling Lupus.
During the program, the moderators/hosts made an interactive sharing of experiences between partners. Through that activity, partners learned different approaches and strategies on how they can balance life, medical needs, and family life.
On the other hand, Puso para sa Lupus is a date night, that's why our facilitators included fun activities that each partner can bond with.
Our highlighted couple of the day is Mr. & Mrs. Reyna Ygot, who also won P500 during the event.
And as promised, we will have a winning couple with Special Date Surprised - P1000 allowance for a date.
Our winner is chosen by the roll, and they are Mr. and Mrs. Estrada. In the below picture, you will see how happy they are to celebrate this month of love!
The event night was indeed filled with love, understanding, and education for couples that are battling lupus. This is just the start of our support program for couples fighting against Lupus.
We hope to see more couples gathering together, sharing their thoughts, stories of love, and stories of conquering Lupus.
