Probably you have heard for so many times the word: YOLO or also known as You Only Live Once. This millennial lingo most likely made you ask yourself, “What am I doing in my life?” “Am I living my life the way I ever wanted?”

Millennials nowadays will have so many goals to be called: #travelgoals #relaionshipgoals, #lifegoals, #collectiblegoals, etc., and they think that YOLO is all about it, and to you having none of these, thinking that you ruined your precious life by doing none of those. So here’s the thing, stop envying your batch mates or the people surrounding you for their #whatever, here are 10 ways that will surely make you live your life to the fullest aside from the hash tags.

  1. HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Most of the time we’ll be challenged by the opposing power of life. It may be so hard for you to accept all the things happening in your life, but here’s the thing, whatever or wherever you’re placed right now, there’s a reason for it and it has a purpose to served.

Just trust in Him and you’ll never know where He’ll lead your life which will always be the best.

2. SAVE MONEY


Have you heard the saying, “Suffer today, pleasure later”? Maybe you’re thinking that the saying is incorrect especially if we’ll base it on the lifestyle of the millennials.

Take a look at this, living your life doesn’t necessarily mean you’re just living in the present. You will get old, will retire and have to continue life in whatever it means. Save today, make investments for your future. Who said you’ll die early just to live in the present? What you save today can be earn in the future and believed it or not, what you save today is something that your old self will be thankful of to your younger self.

3. KEEP UP YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO YOUR FAMILY

Blood is thicker than water. If you think that your family is a trouble, better star

t thinking twice. No one in this world knows you better aside from your family. They are one of the people that you can run to whenever you’re troubled, not only financially but emotionally and in decision making.

Also what’s so cool that your child can grow up knowing their relatives, you don’t need to invite strangers to be your child’s playmate.

4. FOCUS ON IMPROVING AND DEVELOPING YOURSELF

Keeping yourself on track of new learning and new knowledge can keep you younger and can improve your current skills and become master of it.

Developing your skills is one way of investment, those skills you learnt today may not be needed yet but in the future it’s something that you can offer and earn something from it.

5. MAKE NETWORKS OF PEOPLE

You may not yet see the reason why you need to make friends to different kinds of people. People consist of different experiences and they are like a walking book of lessons for life. Learn from them and adapt the lessons you learnt from them. It can contribute to your success in the future.

6. ALWAYS BE HEALTHY

Do your best to be always healthy. Life can be short to some people due to some health issues, but if you take care of your health, you will not miss any moment of your life.

Being healthy means of no restrictions or limitations to your physical and intellectual activity the healthier you are can make you do more, feel better and live longer.

7. DO OR DARE THE THINGS THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

As you grow older, decision making become more crucial. There are so many stuffs that you have to consider before making one decision. One thing that you have to consider in making a decision, “Will this make me happy?” “Will this affect my wellness positively?” “Will I regret something if I do this?”

Ask yourself about many times before making a decision and don’t make a decision with questions, “Will I make my parents proud if I do this?” “Will it make the people surrounding me happier?” Your life is your book and you’re the author of it. For each book to be written vividly, you as the writer has the direction to lead its reader to wherever you wanted them to be at.

Lastly, you are the driver of your own vehicle to life. Whatever you do is something that will count for your future. Everything you decide that makes you happy today, is something that your old self will not ask “Why I didn’t do this on my younger years?” “Why am I regretting this?” Follow the works, decisions, or things that makes you happy not because someone asked you to do it. Live a life that you will not make any regrets in the future.

8. MOVE OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

There were times that we get used to whatever we do, sometimes increasing or challenging yourself more than what you thought you can only do is something that can make the most out of you.

9. BE GRATEFUL

By simply appreciating the people, things, and all the possessions that surrounds you can make your life simpler and fulfilling. Lastly, being grateful at the accomplishments, small things you got, and simple memories of people around you can make you a happier person.

10. ALWAYS BE OPTIMISTIC

Whatever situation you’re at, always be optimistic. Always think of the positive side and face your problem with all the possible actions that you can take and never let it you down.

Life is not just right now, we must know that life is the whole time that we are alive in this world It never stops at our 30’s, 40’s or 50’s. Life is a continues process of learning, loving and hoping for the best for ourselves. Live your life into something that the new generation deserves to hear. A life that is not just live in the present and just passed by, but a remarkable life that was live in the entirety of your existence.
